Clearer confirmations, a Restart you can take back, and a round of fixes
New
- Restart and "watch it again" wait until you actually start. Restarting a show, or adding a finished one back to your Playlist, no longer writes anything to your journal. Your next episode marks the fresh start. Until then, Resume or Shelve takes it back and the show returns exactly where it was.
- Deleting from your journal can be undone. Every delete shows Undo, and the confirmation now tells you where the show will land afterwards.
- "Just released" and "New season" badges. A show that just premiered says so on its card, and profile cards mark a show with a new season.
Improved
- One style of confirmation everywhere. The messages that pop up after you mark, rate, skip or save all look the same now and lead with what happened ("Skipped S1E3", "Marked 6 episodes watched"). When something goes wrong, the message says what failed instead of showing an error code.
- Status pills say it in words. The pill on a show reads Watching, Rewatching, Rereading or Replaying. A title you've finished more than once gets a double check (✓✓), and hovering it shows how many times and when.
- Skipping a season is easier to take back. A skipped season shows a trash icon, and Unskip asks before it clears the skips.
- Calmer scrolling rows. The edges of horizontal rows fade out instead of dimming, the scroll arrows are gone, and phone layouts have even side margins.
- What's new shows once per account. You see each release's notes once, not again on every new device or browser.
Fixed
- Reviews show up once for the people who follow you. A review you rewrote appeared twice in their feed, and a review you withdrew could still show up.
- Skips and removals stay private. Skipping an episode or removing a title no longer shows up for others on Home, in the feed or on your profile.
- Accepting an invite clears the follow request. The "wants to follow you" notification used to stay behind after you'd already accepted.
- A slow movie, TV or book service no longer freezes a page. If one is slow or down, pages load without its data rather than hanging.
- Finishing a show by editing a past entry now counts as completing it. It used to leave the show stuck in Watching.
