One of the most celebrated plays of David Mamet's oeuvre, Speed-the-Plow was first produced in 1988 featuring Madonna, Joe Mantegna, and Ron Silver. As they lock horns over what initially seems like an obvious hit, jealousy and betrayal take over. Industry produces wealth, God speed the plow. - Back cover.
